Aesthetic Surgery Procedure
Corrects a loose , protruding or sagging abdomen and creates a flatter, tighter abdomenal profile.
Technique
Surgical removal of excess abdomenal fat and skin. May include tightening of the abdomenal wall where muscles have weekened. Trancesverse incision at or just above the public area.
Generally performed as an in-patiet procedure under regional (spinal)or general anesthesia.
COMPLEMENTS: May be performed in conjuction with liposuction to remove adjacent areas of axcess fat. Where excess skin pr weekend muscles are not factors, liposuction alone is an alternative.
Results
Drains are removed in 3-4 days after surgery. Swelling subsides and intial results apprear in 2-4 weeks. Final results appear in 8 weeks. Continued flattening and fading of iincision lines for 1 year.
