Sclerotherapy is one onf the three modern methods of removing varicose veins. Unlike the two other methods: vein stripping and versa pulse laser treatment , scvlerotherapy is non- surgical and more cost effective. it eliminates surface vessels or spider veins, commonly on the legs.
Technique
Injection of sclerosing solution directly into a vessel, through a micro-needle, causing it to slowly fade and disappear.
Performed in your plastic surgeon's office, with no anesthesia required, Patients are generally encouraged to resume normal activities immediately.
Results
Gradual fanding of veins usually 7-10 days for significant improvment, final results in 2-6 weekd. May require multiple treatment cycles. Veins can recur over time. Allergic reaction to sclerosing solution is possible but very rare.
